Meet Dr. Libby

What draws anyone to their profession? Is it the money? The fame? Something entirely different? No one knows for sure. But I know one thing, I was drawn to physical therapy from the moment I touched a set of parallel bars 17 years ago. It was like a rush of energy coursed through my body. I instantly knew that this was part of my life calling. I was intrigued by the patients. I fell deeply in love with the healing capacity of our bodies. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of each individual’s journey towards better health. I love the ability to directly impact people’s lives for the better.

After serving in the United States Air Force for 7 years and being a physical therapy aide for 6 years I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2012. Since then, I sought dry needling, home health, orthopedics, Graston, and am currently perusing my board certification in orthopedics that only 5% of physical therapists have. I believe that we never stop learning and growing, and my patients continue to teach me something new every day. Being a physical therapist allows me to keep growing for the betterment of my clients.

In 2013 I had some extremely challenging life circumstances that afforded me the ability to know exactly what it was like being a patient. These experiences allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the human experience, and to develop profound compassion for my clients.

When I’m not engaging in my passion as a physical therapist, I love to: cook, dance, camp, snow ski, hike, participate in art mediums, and spend time with my beautiful family.
